The role:

Our aim is to give every one of our customers the best level of service possible. From the very first interaction through to them becoming an evangelist for theUp.co and our products.

Based in the Northern regions (including Manchester and Liverpool), this role focuses on building rapport with prospective customers and generating excitement around the ServedUp product offering with the ultimate aim being that the prospect becomes a ServedUp customer. You will accomplish this through in-field prospecting and meetings. This means dropping into venues unannounced and building rapport with both staff members and the operator in order to sell in theUp.co’s suite of products.

Your responsibilities:

  • Understand the hospitality market and the technologies which power it with the aim of becoming an industry expert
  • Hit key KPI’s such as number of visits made, decision-makers seen, demos booked and venues signed along with conversion rates across deal stages
  • Qualify prospects based on a set of criteria to define how we can assist them
  • Use phone calls, email sequencing and in field visits to persuade prospects to book a demo with you and then close the sale post demo
  • Make a strong impression on prospects so that they remember who you are and what our company does
  • Sign venues up to ServedUp in order to hit and exceed your monthly targets
  • Identify opportunities for growth within your sector and present them back to the leadership team


What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills and an articulate phone manner
  • A confident go-getter who can build and maintain rapport
  • Demonstrable commercial experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Keen interest in commencing a career in a high growth, fast-paced start-up
  • Existing experience in the on-trade hospitality sector
  • A hustler with a ‘get it done’ attitude
  • A competitive team player who strives to top the leaderboards but also shares insights that they’ve learnt
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and persuasive abilities
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot), BI tools (Domo) and GSuite
  • Someone who can hit and exceed their KPIs
